How to Find Us

• From A1 - Leave at J 61 and follow A688 through Spennymoor to Bishop Auckland, West Auckland on to Raby Castle & Staindrop.
• Following signs to Barnard Castle, on the outskirts of the town join the A67 and turn right at the Jet Petrol station mini roundabout into Bede Road.
• Continue on into Galgate.
• At the Church, the road veers left and you will see the large white painted Post Office on your right hand side.
• Turn right at the Post Office into Flatts Road, then left into Raby Avenue.
• The cottage is in front of you. (No. 3 Marwood Cottages - The one with the green door)

• Take the A1 South to Scotch Corner
• Leave the A1 at Scotch Corner join A66 West
• Pass the Fox Hall Inn on A66
• Continue Past Greta Bridge and Take B6277 to Barnard Castle
• Through Startforth and cross the County Bridge (River Tees) into Barnard Castle, up the Bank and straight ahead past the Market Cross
• At the top of Horse Market you'll see the Post Office in front of you
• Head straight on past the Post Office on your right
• Turn first left at the end of Flatts Road into Raby Avenue

• From the M1 North continue to join the A1 North to Scotch Corner
• Leave the A1 at Scotch Corner, join A66 West and pass the Fox Hall Inn on A66
• Continue past Greta Bridge and take B6277 to Barnard Castle
• Go through Startforth and cross the County Bridge (River Tees) into Barnard Castle, up the Bank and straight ahead past the Market Cross
• At the Top of Horse Market you'll see the Post Office in front of you
• Head straight on past the Post Office on your right
• Turn first left at the end of Flatts Road into Raby Avenue
