Can I bring my dog to stay at the cottage with me?

We know how important it is to make sure your pet is looked after. By prior arrangement, we welcome well behaved pets to Riverdale Cottage at a small additional charge. Click here for our pet policy.

Is smoking permitted?

Smoking is not allowed at Riverdale Cottage. This is a mandatory policy and regretfully, a penalty charge will be made if this rule is not followed.

Is wi-fi available? And how much is it?

A fast broadband connection is available ‘Free of Charge’ and is included in cost of the rental. An access code will be provided on arrival.

Does the cottage have cooking utensils?

The cottage is fully equipped and we hope you’ll find everything you need.

Do I need to bring my own towels?

Freshly laundered bed linen and towels are provided and included in the cost of the rental.

When is check in/out time for cottage?

Check in at the cottage is from 3:00pm on the day of your arrival. Check out time is by 10:00am on the day of departure.

These times allow us to get the cottage ready for you and following guests. Please contact us if you require special arrangements. We’ll do our best to help where this is practicable.

What is your policy regarding COVID 19?

The guidelines around the management of Covid19 are constantly evolving. However, be assured that we follow the strict guidelines set out by National Government and Visit England, the hospitality industry lead body. You can read the details here.
